Adrian Campos has died

- News and Previews
Adrian Campos, 60 years old, has suddenly passed away.

A former F1 driver (a short career in Minardi in 1987/88), at the end of the 90s he founded a racing team which in the last 30 years has formed several F1 drivers, starting with Fernando Alonso (of whom Adrian was the real talent scout), with Alonso competing with Campos and winning his first single-seater championship in the World Series by Nissan in 1999.

Currently involved in the FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 Championships, Adrian Campos' structure stands out for its global support for its drivers and aspiring drivers through the Academy, which is based at the headquarters of Campos Racing in Valencia (ESP) where young drivers follow a course of formation and athletic, nutritional and sports preparation aimed at competitive activities on the track. Among the drivers who raced and won with the famous Spanish Team Manager were Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez, Giorgio Pantano and Lucas Di Grassi, to name a few.

The condolences of the Vroom editorial team go to the team and family.
