The Open Cup 2020 lives its penultimate day with all the Prefinals scheduled to take place.
KZ2 - Van Walstijn and Pex mortgage the finals
In the first Pre-final of the day, good recovery from Senna Van Walstijn (CPB), author of the comeback victory ahead of Danilo Albanese (KR) and Viktor Gustavsson (Lennox Racing), in the first three starting boxes for tomorrow's final. Stan Pex (KR) then triumphed in the last round of the day, taking back the leadership of the category for the last final scheduled, second Gustavsson and third Leuillet.
OK - Barnard always leading
Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing) continues his triumphant ride by winning both pre-finals of the day at Adria. A performance that the Englishman has been able to do so far, ready to avenge the OK World Championship. Good placings for Zhivnov (Komarov), Pirttilahti (Forza Raving), Taponen (Tony Kart) and Amand (VDK), respectively in second and third place.
OKJ - Pasiewicz and Dodds ready to impress
In the first two pre-finals of the Junior, it was a Polish one-two thanks to Karol Pasiewicz (Birel Art) and Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (Birel Art), both winners and front row masters for the Round 1 Final. In the afternoon, victories for the World Champion, Freddie Slater (RFM) and Maxwell Dodds (Energy) with the latter on pole for the second final.
60 Mini - Gladysz and Lammers drive the Mini
The 60 Mini concludes the day's program with four fierce pre-finals. In the first two races of the first part of the day, it was Emanuele Olivieri (Formula K) and Maciej Gladysz (Parolin) who won with the Polish driver leading Final 1. With the last two pre-finals, Gerasim Skulanov (Formula K Serafini) and Renè Lammers (Baby Race) closing the day, the Dutchman will start first for the second final.
Appointment until tomorrow with the last act of the WSK 2020 season following the cancellation of the Final Cup. The finals will start from 11.05 am to 12.35 pm for round 1, from 2.05 pm to 3.35 pm for round 2.
