Press Release by:
During the Margutti Trophy weekend, the Polish driver Maciej Gladysz finished his race in third place in the 60 Mini.

A weekend full of history the one faced by Gladysz on the 7 Laghi Kart in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy). A classic appointment of the racing season that every year sees the best drivers of the 60 Mini give life to an international show to honour the memory of Andrea Margutti.

Maciek redeemed at best a difficult weekend in the Italian ACI Championship, right on the 7 Laghi circuit, with a high level performance that allowed him to obtain another good result in this 2020.
In Friday afternoon's qualifying session, the Orlen Academy driver had set the fourth fastest time overall, also valid for the pole position of Group D in 53.225 at only +0.004sec from the overall record.
Taking advantage of the good starting position for the direct heats, the Parolin team driver completed a very consistent programme of heats on Saturday with two second places out of three available heats and a tenth place penalty due to the incorrect positioning of the front spoiler. Maciej Gladysz took part in the Pre-Final from eighth position.

In Sunday's main event, Maciej recovered positions twice. In the Pre-Final, the Polish driver recovered three positions from eighth to fifth place. A constant progress that also in the final has paid off by recovering from fifth to third place overall in the 60 Mini category, also marking the fastest lap time in the race in 53.771.

"I am very happy with this performance during the Margutti Trophy. It’s a competition that has a lot of value and being able to recover up to third place satisfies me even if we are always aiming for victory. Many thanks to Parolin, MA Engines, my mechanic and all the sponsors and people who support each other during the season".
