Bagarre and show today in the heats program of the two categories. Taylor Barnard (OK) and Christian Ho (OKJ) take advantage with three victories.
The track is finally dry on the Algarve go-kart track and the show is guaranteed to be among the best performers of the Senior and Junior classes. With the track in the best possible conditions, the 2020 World Championship has finally expressed its potential among the high top speeds and the fights favoured by a breathtaking circuit.
OK - Barnard takes off
With one heat per group still to be disputed tomorrow, nothing decided regarding the starting grid of the Senior. Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing), however, has already escaped the standings with three victories that elect him as Saturday star. Good results also for Travisanutto (Parolin), Martì (KR), Kajak (Ward Racing), Valtanen (Pantano) and Antonelli (KR), all with at least one victory to their credit. Last heats scheduled for tomorrow at 11.45 and 12.05 before the final at 14.55 (local time).
OKJ – Ho and Cepil stands out in uncertainty
In the Junior category, the same "theory" applies as in the major category. Three heats to be played tomorrow and still no real reference as far as the starting grid is concerned, it is certain that Christian Ho (Sauber) Igor Cepil (KR) gave his opponents a hard time with one victory, two seconds and a third place for Ho and three victories during the day for Cepil. Next with two wins Ugo Ugochukwu (Sauber) and Evan Giltaire (Sodi), one victory for Sato (KR), Lindblad (KR), Badoer (KR) and Eyckmans (Kosmic). Last heats from 10.45 am to 11.25 am, final scheduled for tomorrow at 1.55 pm (local time).
