FIA OK/OKJ World Championship - In Portugal the "world" show

- Close Up
In the weekend we are about to live, the FIA Karting season comes to an end with the OK and OKJ World Championship.

With a focus on the KZ and KZ2 season, the FIA Karting Circus heads towards Portimao (Portugal) to experience the last act of the 2020 season. A new circuit for many of those present, arrived to replace the previous World Championship in Brazil, postponed until 2021.

From Finland to Portugal, from Alahärmä to Portimao. A passage more than a year long, ready to write a new page of sports history for all the category.

OK - Travisanutto the man to beat, watch out for surprises
After the victory in 2019, despite a difficult season and a team change on his shoulders, the man to beat remains Lorenzo Travisanutto. The Italian has repeatedly shown that he gives 100% under pressure, something that Travisanutto will also want to repeat in Portugal to redeem a whole season. The Parolin driver has already proved to be very competitive in the RGMMC pre-world weekend but will have to deal with favourites Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR) and Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing), Joe Turney (Tony Kart) and Rafael Camara (Forza Racing), passing through Nikita Bedrin (Ward Racing) and Juho Valtanen (Pantano Team), all absolute protagonists of the season. In addition to the hot names, Portimao is ready to open the doors to the usual outsiders, constant of the races of this level and ready to change the cards on the table.

OKJ - A title for many
As usual, the Junior will experience very uncertain moments, so many protagonists and so many potential weekend breakers. After the victory of the European Championship, eyes will be on Ugo Ugochukwu (Sauber Karting), competitive and winning also in the pre-world championship race and followed by his usual rival Arvid Lindblad (KR). In addition to the attacking duo, the OKJ parterre can count on Alfio Spina and Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart), Connor Zilisch (Ward Racing) fresh winner of the Academy Trophy, Chrisitan Ho (Sauber Karting), Valerio Rinicella (Parolin) and Freddie Slater (RFM), just some of the best names seen so far.

The competition will start on Friday 6th with the official qualifying, Saturday 7th with the heats scheduled and Sunday 8th November the grand final that will award the title.
