The weekend of the KZ World Championship on the Lonato circuit, was won by Jeremy Iglesias but to make headlines is a race episode never seen before.
After the first laps of the race, the KZ final finally came to life with what was to be the battle for the most important title of the season. A battle that, after ten laps, was stained by the episode that is causing a sensation in the entire motorsport universe.
On the tenth lap, after a contact that had occurred shortly before, Luca Corberi (Tony Kart) literally unhooked the spoiler of his car, getting dangerously close to the outside of turn 1. The Italian then threw the front spoiler towards Paolo Ippolito (CRG), the protagonist of the previous crash. A gesture that fortunately had no consequences considering the dynamics, that point on the track and the speed of the karts passing at that moment. All of this then led to the general parapet in front of the marshals at scrutineering. An episode that saddens a weekend of sport and spectacle that until that moment had seen the greatest interpreters of the kart give battle.
