Press Release by:
The American driver of the Parolin team has now maximised his feeling with the new team, continuing his positive streak at the Italian ACI Karting Championship.

Sorensen had a very positive weekend, back from his previous commitment on the Lonato circuit where he also made the podium. Kai Sorensen returned to the Adria circuit for the penultimate leg of the Italian Karting Championship.

A route started uphill for the American driver with the ninth fastest time for Group B. What looked like two difficult heats for Sorensen, then turned into a great comeback with a fifth place (twelve positions recovered) and a sixth place (twelve positions recovered). The great recovery then allowed Sorensen to sprint from seventh place overall.

In Race 1, Kai managed to recover all the positions as he had already done in the heats, managing to cross the finish line first and win the race. The American then had to settle for a fourth place after suffering a 5sec penalty at the end of the race. Fourth place was then confirmed also in Race 2 where the American recovered one position with respect to the inverted grid.

Sorensen is currently in fourth position in the general classification with 88 points, fully fighting for success and ready to face the last stage on the calendar on the circuit of Castelletto di Branduzzo.
