Press Release by:
Tom Braeken made his first appearance in the FIA Karting OKJ European Championship on the final round placed in Wackersdorf.

Braeken, one of the youngest drivers in the field, started the weekend with a P15 position in his Qualifying Practices group. It meant Braeken had to do his best in the Qualifying Heats to recover as many places as possible to grab the access to the Final. The Belgian took many risks on tracks, and this strategy well pays; unfortunately, he remained involved in two crashes that prevented him from taking what he deserved.

Tom Braeken, SP Motorsport: “I learned a lot this weekend, I’m pretty sure that this will be useful for the future. The level of these races is very high, but we will find the right pace to take finally what we’re fighting for step by step. I’m now moving to Lonato to attend my second double race this year that will be a significant test for me.”

Tom’s WSK Euro Series round 2 and 3 will start on Wednesday, 16th September, with the Qualifying Practice of round 2 of the WSK Euro Series, the qualifying session of Round 3 will immediately follow.
