Press Release by:
On the Sarno circuit, Kai Sorensen closes a very positive and competitive weekend.

The American driver of the Parolin team completed his second weekend in the Campionato Italiano ACI on the tortuous Sarno track. Kai immediately demonstrated the great competitiveness already shown in Triscina in the first round, managing to finish the qualifying in sixth overall position and second in group C.

In the two heats on Saturday, Sorensen did well, taking home a fifth place in the first heat and a second place in the second heat. The result of the first heat then changed with a disqualification for the Parolin rider who risked jeopardizing the weekend.

In the first final on Sunday, Sorensen showed great speed despite a start from the back of the group, finishing fifth overall after the 27th starting position. In the second race, Sorensen would have made the most of the second starting row to aim for victory, only to be involved in the initial crash of the first corner that relegated him to total P25. A result that does not fully satisfy the American but which demonstrates the great potential of the Parolin team, the good feeling found by Kai and the speed he regained.

“We thank the team very much for the great work this weekend. Thanks also to my mechanic, our engineer and all the people who support us this season ”.
