Gilles Stadsbader has debut in the KZ2 class in the occasion of the FIA Karting European Championship round 1 of Adria.

The Belgian at the Adria Karting Raceway was protagonist of a weekend in crescendo, both on time attack and long runs.
His weekend started with the 9th place in his qualifying group. Step by step Gilles improved his feeling with the gearbox engine during the heats but he missed the Final due to some unlucky heats.
Gilles Stadsbader, Tony Kart Racing Team: «I’m overall satisfied with my first race in KZ2. I’m disappointed for missing the Final but this doesn’t mean that I had a bad weekend. When you came from direct drive style, you have to overturn your style and this is not easy, you need a lot of time and practicing. But I’m confident to be in the right place to learn.»
