On the Adria track, the FIA KZ / KZ2 European Championship and Academy Trophy will be staged over the weekend!
Despite a pandemic, quarantine and problems that have arisen in recent times, we have finally reached the most awaited moment of the season up to this point, the European Championship. A journey that makes the history of this sport, a journey that enters the annals and engraves the name of the greats in the collective memory, all this is the spectacle of the FIA Karting European Championship.
Being able to start on an avant-garde track like that of Adria is certainly a source of pride for the competition, called upon to design a calendar that seemed doomed and disturbed by too many changes in front. The italian track took up the challenge to fly by being ready and organized for an event of this size. Three categories, full-bodied entry lists and a single name on the Sunday afternoon headlines, adrenaline is served.
In KZ the usual war to the death is expected with few but good phenomena in the series, the fastest in the premier class ready to fight and leave the experts speechless. There are confirmations, those to which the Birel Art house is called, World Champion with an authentic army if we also add the teams that use Lissone supplies such as Lennox Racing Team Charles Leclerc or Ricciardo Kart. There are those called to redemption like CRG and those who want to place the usual paw like the Tony Kart men. Many expected outsiders and many facets that from tomorrow with the official qualifications will begin to be clearer.
The speech of KZ2 is almost the same but with a thick entry list as usual and full of pitfalls for names and the desire to excel. The Italian drivers on the one hand, strong in their feeling with the home track and the drivers who aspire to a place in KZ to become even bigger. However, over the last few seasons, the “younger sister” of KZ (1) has shown that she has nothing of a “sister” or even “minor” becoming a parallel universe with its own history.
The program will then be closed by the boys of the FIA Academy Trophy from all over the world among drivers who are perhaps already quite experienced and others at the first international outings who will battle to win "a place in the OK World Championship" in Portimao.
The ingredients therefore seem to be all there to better enjoy the start of the European Championship on the Adria track.
