After the first round of the European Championship, Maxim Rehm moved to Kerpen to race in the first round of the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft.
With his own team Rehm Racing, the German driver started the weekend with a P11 in his Qualifying group.
Rehm was called to make a big comeback in the 2 heats. The type of track didn’t help in reaching the goal and he started from P23 in the Final 1.
Thanks to a good comeback, Maxim closed 15th in the first race, a result that improved in the second final in which he crossed the finish line in 7th.
Maxim Rehm, Rehm Racing: “It was a weekend all in crescendo. Taking the top10 after such a difficult qualifying practice was difficult but I did it. This race surely improved my attitudes, now it’s time to prepare for the 2nd round of the European Championship”.
Rehm’s season will continue in Sarno next week on the occasion of the European Championship round 2.
