Solid performance for Tom Braeken in the WSK Euro Series round 1.
The long week of Adria races allowed Tom Braeken to lay down a solid foundation for a positive weekend in Sarno.
Braeken, who had never ridden with the Junior before the WSK Euro Series round 1 in Sarno, made himself the protagonist of another week full of improvements.
Having started with the 17th fastest time in his qualifying session, the SP Motorsport driver improved his pace in the Heats and especially in the Prefinal, where the result, the 16th place, "betrays" the performance of which he was the protagonist, which saw him very close to the top 10 in the central part of the race. A contact pushed him back to P16. Seven, finally, the number of positions he recovered in the Final, which allowed him to close in 24th place which becomes the best result in OKJ achieved so far.
Tom Braeken, SP Motorsport: «All in all it's been a positive week. The improvements were evident, the Adria week was crucial for the adaptation to the category. There's a bit of regret for the Prefinal, but this is also part of the sport. Now I'll go home and together with Stan we'll analyze everything that has happened in these past 20 days of intense karting, then we'll prepare for the DKM opening round scheduled in Kerpen.»
