With the European season still stopped, the original events still slip as the umpteenth long-awaited Genk weekend.

The alert period for the virus has inevitably changed the face of the season's calendar, which is still immature for now but given as a starter in August. In these summer days we should have told you about the Belgian weekend on the historic and winding track of Genk, for years the scene of great races in full Belgian style with uncertain weather and great expectations regarding the show and brawl. The Genk weekend, which has now been moved, however does not cancel the karting passion that for years has shared the Belgian track with the FIA circus.
After a season, here is the story of what happened in the last race staged at the "Home of Champions" with the victory of Marcus Amand in OKJ which in fact gave way to the comeback for the title victory but above all to Lorenzo Travisanutto's masterpiece between dry and wet asphalt and that pinch of uncertainty that made that race among the best of the past season. Travisanutto put in place a real frontal attack outclassing the competition from start to finish, a great move that even in his home, gave even more impetus to the victory from there to little of the continental title.

So here is the chronicle of that race:
OK - Travisanutto, what a show of strength!
"At the end of the 20th of the 23 laps scheduled Travisanutto won. The Italian, who started in 2nd position, quickly got rid of the poleman Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG) taking off while behind him the Spaniard fought with Morgan Porter (MSport) and Dilano van T'Hoff (Forza Racing), the latter was the winner, who once took 2nd place even seemed to be able to take the leader back.
The lap of the laps and the cooling of the asphalt, however, favored the return of Dexter Patterson (Sauber Karting) and Dino Beganovic (Ward Racing). Van T’Hoff, on the other hand, was not impressed much and kept 2nd place until the red flag was displayed during the 20th round for rain. Travisanutto wins, but it is not the Forza Racing driver, who is penalized for releasing the spoiler, to escort him to the podium, but the brand partner Patterson and Beganovic. Instead, the unfortunate period of Hiltbrand continues, forced to withdraw due to the detachment of the pipette to the Iame engine ".
