With regard to the latest decisions and the entry into force of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 March 2020, the ACI has decided on the future of the next competitions.
As scheduled, given the changes in the entire sports world in the face of the COVID-19 emergency, ACI has also made official its plans for the immediate future (until April 3, 2020).
Sports events will be guaranteed but only and exclusively behind closed doors, or in the absence of the public. The official ACI SPORT press release follows:
1. Until April 3, 2020, all sports events are allowed, except in the municipalities indicated in Annex 1 of the decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of March 1, 2020 and subsequent amendments;
2. the holding of the aforementioned events is permitted, if inside sports facilities, only behind closed doors and, if outdoors, exclusively without the presence of the public; in the latter case, the organizers must guarantee the absence of the public and inform the competent Prefecture for the territory for the purposes of monitoring pursuant to art. 3 of the aforementioned Prime Ministerial Decree;
3. the organizers, through medical personnel, are required to carry out the appropriate checks to contain the COVID-19 among the athletes, technicians, managers and all accompanying persons who participate in it.
The weekend of the WSK Super Master Series in La Conca (LE) is therefore also confirmed for the next weekend (March 15).
"WSK Promotion, together with the local organizers and Authorities will grant the best possible execution of the events following what mentioned in the Decree-Law of the Italian Prime Minister and the ACI Sport communication. The instructions include the absence of spectators and the due checks to contain possible spread of the COVID-19 infection among athletes, technicians, managers and all accompanying people taking part in these events".
