At the South Garda Karting, the second round of the WSK Super Master Series was staged, where the Gamoto team presented itself with 5 drivers.
After the parenthesis of the Winter Cup with the Rok engines, the Sicilian team is back in force with the "national" Mini, engine that will also be a protagonist in the near future.
Cui in the top 10, unlucky Bondarev in the final
Solid weekend for the Chinese driver YuanPu Cui, constantly in the top ten since qualifying. In the final, after a difficult start, he did everything possible and ended in 10th position. His teammate Oleksandr Bondarev, after an unfavorable qualification, had to overturn his weekend in the heats and so it was. The Ukrainian, who started from eighth place in the final, unfortunately did not manage to end the weekend on top, due to a contact in the very early stages of the race that forced him to retire.
Difficult weekend for Minetto, Newman and Frey.
Chi Newman, Alessandro Minetto and Enea Frey, following a lackluster qualification, had a hard time in the heats on Saturday and this made it difficult to qualify for the final, just missed, despite the great efforts made and the character shown on Saturday.
Salvatore Gatto, Team Manager: "The weekend was hard-going for the whole team, but I am satisfied with the attitude of the drivers who, despite their very young age, still showed great character even in difficult times. These performances allow them to lay a solid foundation for the future."
The next round for the Gamoto team will be the third round of the WSK Super Master Series, at the World Circuit La Conca.
