Bad luck strikes Rehm in the WSK Super Master Series round of Lonato.
No happy ending for Maxim Rehm in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in which he was forced to retire in the Final due to a contact.
The Tony Kart Racing Team driver had started the weekend with an encouraging 7th position in the Qualifying Group 2. In the heats the German again showed a good pace staying always in the top 10 zone.
A hard fought Prefinal saw him finish in 12th position, after having long undermined the top 10. In the Final, after a positive start, he remained victim of a crash that forced him to retire from the race, thus stopping a papabile comeback.
Maxim Rehm, Tony Kart Racing: «It was a double-sided weekend. The speed was good, we found a good set up and the speed was not bad, however, the crash in the Final did not allow me to finalize the comeback. In these cases, I just have to renew the appointment for the next race; the 3rd round of the WSK Super Master Series of La Conca.»
