After a season full of triumphs, the Brazilian company announces its new driver for 2020!

With five titles won, Gaetano Di Mauro is among the most successful drivers in Brazil and he's now also a new man of Thunder Technology! The avant-garde company of the Belizario family has fulfilled its programs for the 2019 season, launching the already described novelty of its chassis and the will to expand its range of action.

With 2020 at the door, Thunder has announced that Di Mauro will be the driver to compete with the Thunder chassis in the Graduados category, but there's more: the Brazilian champion will also develop the KZ project, something truly ambitious for the Belizario family that sees no limits and continues to work towards archieving results. Ruan Belizario commented on the new team member: "Gaetano's a champion and a driver of great experience and will certainly give us much joy", declared Ruan Belizário of Thunder Technology. "We took him to be one of the factory drivers, trying to further improve our chassis. He will also work with Shifter Karts (KZ), but the main focus will be on Graduados."

As stated by Belizario himself, the Thunder project is to expand, thanks also to an international-level driver like Di Mauro (fourth at the FIA KZ2 World Championship in 2018).
“We want to bring our chassis to the international market and we ought to be starting this project in North American karting, too."

Also busy in the Brazilian stock car season, the 5-time champion Gaetano Di Mauro commented: "I really like Ruan Belizario and Waldir Belizario and when I received the invitation to join the team I knew I'd be in good hands. We want to make the most of my experience to further refine the chassis, not only for Shifter (KZ), but also for the 125 Graduados karts. We'll develop great projects already produced by the factory. I'm very excited to contribute to this very successful team."

On these foundations, Thunder Technology heads for 2020 with ever greater goals and ambitions.
