Laurens van Hoepen is ready for the second last race of his season, scheduled this weekend at the 7 Laghi Kart circuit for Round 2 of the WSK Open Cup.
The Dutch driver's goal is to vindicate his unlucky first WSK race in OK, where he failed making the Final for a retirement in the Prefinal when he was fighting for a top17 position.
Van Hoepen has already tested in Castelletto di Branduzzo with the OK engine earlier in September and said he found a good feeling with the track.
Laurens van Hoepen, RFM (FA/Vortex): «I’m happy to be back on track again. This will be my 3rd race in Senior this year and I still have one more to do. I think that it’s been a great choice to start with the OK immediately after the World Championship. I hope for a weekend without misfortunes.»
Race activities will officially start on Friday with Qualifying Practices.
