Max Fewtrell and Christian Lundgaard, two drivers of the Renault Sport Academy, have returned to driving a kart in Lonato with Birel ART.
The pupils of the French team are two regulars in the world of international karting; in fact, Christian Lundgaard won the CIK-FIA European Championship (KF-Junior) in 2015 with the Ward Racing team, while Max Fewtrell was the protagonist of the 25th Trofeo Andrea Margutti (KF-Junior) in 2014 with the Ricky Flynn Motorsport team.
The livery of the two Birel ARTs aroused special attention; not the traditional white-red but the yellow-black that has always distinguished the Renault of Formula 1. Is it by chance the sign of a renewed interest in karting by Renault?
