Press Release by:
Again positive results for Tom Braeken in his last appearance in Genk at the Belgian MAX Challenge round 5.

Tom Braeken confirmed himself among the best in the Junior MAX in the Genk round of the Belgian MAX Challenge.

In the last stage of the BMC, Braeken finished in 6th position in the Final and 4th overall in the event, confirming the good work done so far together with Stan Pex and SP Motorsport.
Tom's weekend started with the 3rd position in the Qualifying Practices, a result that came also thanks to the strategy of letting him drive alone, the team decided. In the Prefinal, he drove well fighting hard with his opponents and he closed in 5th position.

Despite a few minor mistakes, Braeken drove well and crossed the finish line of the Final in 6th position. This result allowed him to grab the 4th position overall in the event.

Tom Braeken, SP Motorsport: «It’s been a good weekend overall. We adopted a different qualifying strategy making the lap alone without any trail. Then I closed the Prefinal in 5th position. In the Final I did my best and I closed in P6 and 4th overall in the weekend.»

The next appointment will be the BNL last round scheduled for October first weekend in Genk.
