- Races
After a busy season, Maya Weug is ready to get back on track for the World Championship in Alaharma this weekend.

The Spanish driver has shown that she can fight at the top during the European Championship with the colors of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy team. Despite the challenging and winding track, Maya Weug says she's ready to fight!

Here are the words of the Spanish driver:

- After the long European Season you arrive at the World Cup. What do you expect?
"A tough learning curve for me and a big learning curve changing to OK engines and LeCont tyres. We have been quick at some tracks and I am continuously improving. I had a few top 3 finishes in the qualifying heats and I know we can run at the front".

- How do you rate this first season with Richard Mille?
"It has been fantastic racing with Richard Mille this year. The support has been fantastic from everyone involved. I get along with my mechanic and my teammate Julia. I learned a lot from everyone at BirelArt and the Richard Mille Young Talent academy".

- Do you think performance can improve again next year?
"Absolutely! I need to work on my consistency and my qualifying runs. Part of the fun is always trying to improve and learn".

- What is your goal for this World Championship?
"My goal would be to fight in the final...obviously as far at the front as possible".
