Van Hoepen already on track in Finland for preparing the FIA Karting OKJ World Championship.
After the break from the last round of the European Championship, Laurens van Hoepen is ready to return to the track in Finland to prepare for the FIA Karting OKJ World Championship.
It will be van Hoepen's first contact with the Mika Salo Circuit, a track considered a “pivot” in Northern Europe. This week will thus be a crucial turning point for the Dutch driver towards getting ready for the FIA Karting OKJ World Championship.
At the wheel of his Vortex-powered Fernando Alonso, van Hoepen thus starts the second part of 2019, his second season in OKJ, which will end in Italy with the WSK Promotion events.
Given the period of the year, variable weather conditions are expected, this will make it all the more challenging for the young RFM driver.
Laurens van Hoepen, Ricky Flynn Motorsport (FA / Vortex): «I can't wait to measure myself against the other drivers. I'm convinced it'll be a great experience. I'll try to make the most of this opportunity to get ready for the World Championship.»
The activities are already started.
