Le Mans unlucky for Maya Weug

The Spanish girl closes a luckless weekend on the Le Mans track.

The Richard Mille Young Driver Academy driver completed the OK European Championship with this last French race.

After sixth place in group F, Maya Weug started to charge in the direct heats, despite a non-optimal physical condition. With five placings beyond the top ten (a fifteenth, a twelfth, a tenth, a fourteenth and a seventeenth place), Maya Weug missed qualification for the category finals by just a few points.

Despite the result, the Spanish driver has demonstrated in the long term that she knows how to fight at the top of the rankings, thanks to the competitiveness amply shown.
Appointment therefore to next September with the epilogue of the FIA season and the fight to the World title.
