CRG's Brazil driver brings home a good sixth place after the first round of the FIA European Championship in the OK category.

Bortoleto was competitive throughout the race weekend at the French kart track in Angerville. He then closed with a good comeback in the final, right behind the first train of karts.

Bortoleto's weekend had started well with the 12th absolute time, second for the F group in 48.966. At the end of qualifying, it was on to the category heats, as many as four on Saturday, concluded positively by the Brazilian with a third, a fourth and a second placement, and a 15th place, the only bad run of the week.

The first European adventure in OK ended with the last race on Sunday morning completed with a third place, valid for the ninth place of departure for the OK Final of the afternoon.

In the main event of Angerville, Bortoleto gave his all, succeeded in gaining two positions and shadowing the front runners for the whole race, finishing in P6.

“It was a weekend where we learned a lot and we were competitive! Thanks to my CRG team, my engineer, my mechanic, Francesco Di Mauro, my family and all those who support us”.

Bortoleto, now sixth in the overall standings, is ready to return to the track on the weekend of May 19th for the second round of the FIA OK European Championship in Genk (Belgium).
