The French vice champion of Europe will be among the expected protagonists of the now forthcoming 2019 KZ season.
After closing a 2018 dictated by ups and downs, Iglesias re-starts immediately from the new challenging season that awaits him.
In addition to the colors of Formula K, Jeremy Iglesias will be a new driver of RS Ralf Schumacher for the entire German Championship (DKM). The French driver's experience will be the right way to contribute to the growth of the new Schumacher house look.
Below, the words of Iglesias.
Jeremy, what year was 2018?
«Let's say that my 2018 was not so rich as regards results. I won the first round of the European Championship in Salbris. I played for the title in Lonato in the second race. In the final I had a lack of speed that did not permit me to obtain the necessary points to bring home the Title, then finishing second. For the rest of the season we did not do many races because one Championship was done with the Lecont tires and the other with different tires».
For the next year you will be among the RS Ralf Schumacher drivers, what are your thoughts?
«For 2019 I will participate in the WSK Master Series and Euro Series, in addition to the European and World Championships always with FK colors. I will also take part in the DKM championship with RS. I think it's very positive for me that it's for IPK. I'm very proud of running for the name Schumacher; it allows me to do a program with more races. Also, competing under the management of Ralf Schumacher will allow me to learn new things, things that I lack for winning an important title!»
What will be the goals of 2019?
«The objectives are always the same: I want to bring home the maximum and win races! For 2019 I will use the Iame engine; it's a new thing for me. With FK and RS we have the same goals. I think we'll do a great job towards bringing home the maximum».
