The Brazilian CRG driver completes his second race in the new OK class. A not easy weekend for Bortoleto but useful towards understanding the category better.
After a roaring debut in the first round of Lonato, Gabriel Bortoleto arrived in Castelletto di Branduzzo with a good fourth place. The Brazilian's weekend started off with a third overall time under the deluge, just +0.095 from the leader, good for Group C pole.
The usual much-fought heats then re-shuffled the grid with a fourth and a fifth place, then struck by an unlucky last heat in 18th position. A result likely to affect Bortoleto's weekend, who however did his best towards obtaining the max possible result on Sunday.
Good the double comeback between prefinal and final, a show of great competitiveness by the Brazilian, held back only by the front spoiler penalty, which fell during the match. Sixth and eighth place at the end of the weekend with a lot of ground fought and gained on track and important pieces added to the mosaic of growth of the "All Black" driver.
