Kart Grand Prix of Italy - Saturday: Thompson dominant in OK, Aron shined in OKJ

FIA Karting European Championship, Rd.1. Saturday report.

The second day of the FIA Karting European Championship for direct drive classes is just finished here in Sarno. Like yesterday the team Ricky Flynn Motorsport and its FA/Vortex karts seems to have the best pace in both categories here at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. In OKJ Paul Aron (FA/Vortex) won 4 heats,1 more than Conrad Laursen (FA/Vortex). Kai Askey (FA/Vortex) won 2 heats, while Dino Beganovic (Tony Kart/Vortex), Josh Dufek (Exprit/TM) and Kirill Smal (Tony Kart/Vortex) triumphed in the other heats. In OK Harry Thompson won all the heats he raced, his teammate Zane Maloney (FA/Vortex) won 2 heats as CRG's Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG/TM). Hannes Janker (KR/Parilla), Roman Stanek (Kosmic/Vortex), Noah Milell (Kosmic/Vortex) and David Vidales (Tony Kart/Vortex) won the other races. The last heats will be disputed tomorrow.
