After a slow start to the season, Anthony Abbasse and Sodi are preparing for their European début.
A bit slow, this 2018 for Anthony Abbasse, World Vice-Champion. Among the season's results so far, a good second place at the Winter Cup in Lonato and a Super Master Series where he finished in eighth place. Results that launch the French driver to the start of the European CIK FIA, scheduled the weekend of May 6 on his home track: Salbris (FRA).
Anthony Abbasse sums up his season to date.
How do you feel after the first races of 2018?
"It hasn't been the best start of the season I've ever had. Anyway, I did a good job at the Winter Cup with second place and at Adria in the first round of the WSK. After, a few problems arrived. Now we're trying to find the best solution. We know that we're not at the top yet, but we are improving."
Would it be correct to say that the Sodi chassis works well in both cold and warm conditions?
"It's difficult to say. We know that in the first round at Adria we had zero degrees; it went well for us. Even here in Sarno it wasn't easy. Alex went fast in the race but we had twenty degrees ... so we can't talk about that right now as we don't know yet."
