Alessio Lorandi, Andrea Rosso, Enzo Trulli, Coskun Irfan and Marco Moretti are the winners of 29th Trofeo Andrea Margutti
4 Italian victories over 5 categories at Lonato in the 29th edition of the Trofeo Andrea Margutti.
Luckily this time the snow spared the drivers, but the bad weather and the rain were still protagonists.
In KZ2 a dominant Alessio Lorandi with Parolin/TM of Baby Race won the race with an over 17 seconds advantage on Fabian Federer (CRG/TM), who thrilled race fans thanks to a battle for positions with Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart/Vortex). During the last lap Schmitz lost the podium to Benjamin Tornqvist (CRG/TM). 5th position for Massimo Dante with Maranello/TM.
Andrea Rosso (CRG/TM) was the rain master in OK. Starting in pole position, the “All Blacks” driver dominated the race from the first corner to the chequered flag. Marius Zug (KR/Parilla) was second, followed by a brilliant Leonardo Anderruti (Tony Kart/Vortex), then disqualified by the stewards. Hence, the last step of the podium went to Mads Hansen (FA/Parilla). 4th and 5th positions for Fin Kenneally (Parolin/TM) and Phil Doerr (KR/Parilla).
In OKJ, Enzo Trulli (CRG/TM), son of former F1 driver Jarno, won a thrilling final. After the initial leadership of Enzo’s team mate Gabriel Bortoleto, Trulli took the first position during the 10th lap, and crossed the line in first position after 3 laps. Peter Hojgaard (Kosmic/Vortex) completed the podium. Alexey Brizhan (Parolin/TM) and Alfio Spina (CRG/TM) finished 4th and 5th.
Coskun Irfan (Parolin/TM) was the only non- Italian winner. In 60 Mini, the young British driver from Baby Race won, followed by Arvid Lindblad (Parolin/TM), Joel Bergstrom (IPK/TM), Kiano Blum (CRG/TM) and Valdemar Aggerholm (Tony Kart/TM).
