Tomracing and DR Regional Champions 2017

Even this year, Tomracing, the team of Catania equipped with DR racing kart vehicles, achieved an important aim by winning the Regional Championship “Area Sud” Sicily 2017 in the 125 Rotax Max class race.

The pilots of this last regional trial were Michele Puglisi from Catania and Neville Zammit from Malta. Puglisi got pole position in the timed test laps, while Zammit ranked second. Luke Muscat, who is also equipped with a DR chassis, ranked fourth.

In the pre-finals, Muscat came of best and crossed the finishing line earlier than the others. Puglisi arrived second and Zammit fifth.

In the final, the podium was entirely dedicated to the DR’s: Muscat won, while Puglisi confirmed his position achieved in the pre-final and Zammit ranked third.

Thanks to the points in this last trial, Michele Puglisi and Tomracing won the title of “Regional Rotax “Area Sud” Champions for the third time in a row.
