CIK-FIA European Championships, Le Mans - Academy final

Sami Meguetonif holds the head of the race after the start, followed by Xavier Handsaeme, but in the second lap the poleman slips into P6 with the Belgian who grabs the head of the race ahead of the Spanish Ruben Moya Lopez, the Brit Alexander Simmonds and Tijmen van der Helm.
 
Handsaeme gets the better of this situation and pulls away while behind his shoulders a big battle for podium places flares up with drivers changing positions lap after lap.
 
In the last part of the race Sulemain Zanfari, who started on seventeenth position, and Meguetonif have a contact in the battle for the third place and it gives the possibility to van der Helm to back in third place, while David Fontecha Martinez, started in ninth position, is alone in second place.
 
With the first two position assigned, the battle is for the third spot with 8 drivers nose to tail! At the end of the day Handsaeme wins on Fontecha Martinez and Simmonds.
