Six years after the accident during the Rally of Andorra, Robert tested a 2012 F.1 Lotus-Renault E20.

“Robert complained about grip, understeer, downforce and had the biggest smile on after his 115 laps!”
This tweet posted by the official Twitter account of Renault Sport Formula 1 welcomes back the Polish driver behind a F.1 steering wheel.
One hundred and fifteen laps are equivalent to 460 KM circa, 160 KM more than necessary to get the F.1 driving super license. This test underlined the fact that now he is finally able to drive a Formula 1 again. What’s next? The path to back in F.1 is not easy, as was not easy his life outside this world, but his will to come back should not be understimated…
Renault said that was “only a private test for Robert”, we’ll see!
