A double win in Adria in the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, a third place at the Winter Cup in Lonato and another win in Castelletto for the second WSK event. You’re always on top.. on what have you been working during the winter season?

“It is obviously not only a simple job during the winter. The team and the factory have been working smartly and hard for 2 last years, which has allowed us to have an excellent chassis base in 2016. The 2016 chassis was very good (vice world champion and WSK and CIK European Championship podiums), so the work was mainly focused on details. The tyres change during the winter was also an area of work. We have been able to test the new Bridgestone YNB tyres from January 9th and we have noted that the chassis works very well with these new tyres ... we only had to refine some points. Again, the 2016 chassis was already effective with the Vega, which proves that our chassis is versatile and well-designed.”

In your opinion, who is the strongest rival in KZ this year?

“To be honest, we do not have only one rival performing well, but about ten ! This year, the level is huge ! You only have to look at the last final of Castelletto to see the small differences between the drivers. The arrival of the "young" drivers (I think especially to Alex) has the advantage of provoking the "elders" drivers, which offers us beautiful races. Concerning the teams, Tony Kart will always be present and CRG was unlucky at the beginning of the year, but the drivers have shown that they are very fast.”

Are you planning to debut in OK classes in the forthcoming years?

“Yes, of course. We already had a test in race conditions last year during the OK World Championship (OK CIK-FIA WORLD CHAMPS - Bahrain) with LVR racing (sattelite SODI team) and Vincent Fraisse. The performance was there, which reassuring us for the future. So we have planned to be present in OK, with our engine partner - TM.”
