After dominating all the event with pole position in qualifying, winning the heats and the 2 prefinals, the Sodi army was the team to beat in Castelletto.
n the final, Anthony Abbasse and Bas Lammers (Sodikart-TM) hold the head of the race while Frenchman Jeremy Iglesias grabs the third position passing Marco Ardigò on the outside line. Dutch driver Lammers overtakes his teammate on the opening lap, but the following lap he slips into fourth position.
Iglesias takes the lead while Lammers (Sodikart-TM) charges his way to the top and he settles in third position behind Abbasse (Sodikart-TM) with Paolo De Conto immediately behind him. On lap 5 Lammers steps in second place while De Conto tries to overtake Abbasse, but they touch and De Contlo jumps and he is forced to retire.
Lammers shadows Iglesias and on lap 11 he puts the Sodi Kart-TM ahead of the Frenchman. On lap 14 Stan Pex grabs the third step of the podium from Hajek, who loses other one position in favour of Abbasse. Note that Alex (Sodi/CPB Sport - TM) made a amazing 6 in final and was very performant all the week-end.
After this second round of the WSK, The Sodi drivers get ahead of the competitors. Bas Lammers takes the lead to the championship with 175 points and Anthony Abbasse is second with 161 points (the third has 86 points).
