Gillian Henrion (CRG-Parilla) starts well followed by Genis Civico (FA Kart-TM) and Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex), who takes the lead in the opening lap and pulls away from the pack. Civico and Henrion fight while Russian Ilya Morozov (Tony Kart-Vortex) and Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto (CRG-Parilla) get closer and closer. Henrion slips down in the order and settles for fifth, while other drivers gain a position. Bortoleto and Henrion continue their duel and Mattia Michelotto gets the better from this fight and takes the fourth place from the eighteenth position on grid.
Jack Doohan (FA Kart-Vortex) leads over Dexter Patterson (BirelART-TM) and Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart-Vortex). On the first lap the race is neutralized because of an incident occurred to Evan Mallet (CRG-Parilla) and it will re-start five laps later. Doohan holds the lead with Pavel Bulantsev in second and Victor Majgaard (Kosmic-Vortex) in third. The Russian puts pressure on the leader while behind them Harry Thompson (FA Kart-Vortex) steps in third position ahead Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi-Parilla) and Chris Lulham (Tony Kart-Parilla). On lap 12 the battle for the lead flares up and the Russian steal the head of the race from the Australian driver.
