The long weekend of the fourth round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship is underway at the International Circuit of Triscina. The entry list is shaping up in these hours with some novelties, like the presence of the strong Spanish driver Marta Garcia, at her debut in KZ2.
The girl from Valencia comes from the race in Sweden where she made a good debut in CIK-FIA KZ2 KZ2 International Super Cup and chose the Sicilian race to compete in the shifter category of the Italian Championship where she will be challenge by a lot of rivals that will battle out the Italian title. Marta Garcia will compete for team Intrepid in Triscina and will have Guatemala's 2015 and 2016 champion Brad Benavides as team mate. Marta Garcia has been CIK-FIA Academy Trophy champion in 2015 and came fourth at the European 2015 Championship (OKJ) and 2016 (OK), and she has been chosen to represent women in Karting for two years in a row by FIA Women Motorsport.
