MAXSpeed Entertainment Announces Shifter Class Tire Change for US Open Finale

In advance of the Sofina Foods US Open Presented by Fikse Wheels Las Vegas series finale, set for November 1-5 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, MAXSpeed Entertainment announces today that all Shifter classes will run LeCont tires for the third and final round of 2016.

“After word came in that WR Motorsport would no longer import the MG FZ tire line, the discussion started on what we do from here,” explains MAXSpeed Entertainment’s Race Promotion Director Garett Potter. “After much debate and with the current MG distribution not having the same support as we all have become use to, we will be switching to LeCont for the last round of the US Open.”

“I don’t love the idea of changing such integral part of the program midstream, but I also trust the WR team will give our drivers everything they need to be successful like they always have,” continues Potter. “Wagner (Rossi) and Luis (Ruibal) have been delivering great products and the best service to the karting industry for as long as I can remember. WR has made MG what they are today and they will do the same with the LeCont brand.”
