Koene USA will provide tuning and driver coaching duties while Koene Racing/Koene Engines will take over the preparation of race engines. James will continue to utilize the BENIK chassis while working with the Koene USA staff and assisting in the further development of the Tony Kart 950 chassis later this year."

"I appreciate all the guys at Team BENIK for their support in James at the start of his national racing career. They were instrumental in getting James exposed to this level of karting and have taught him the necessities to compete at the front of the field," explained Robert Egozi, father of James. "We are looking forward to our new venture with Team Koene USA and can't wait to get started. We have watched their program from afar and really enjoy their perception and professionalism. With their expressed interest in James, I am confident this will be a great program for him and look forward to a long term partnership."
