Team Benik adds two more to growing operation

Press Release by:
Santiago Trisini and Elio Giovane join Florida based team for multiple series and events.

Continuing to add to their growing operation, Team BENIK is pleased to welcome two newcomers to the squad. Competing in multiple events and series for the remainder of 2016, Santiago Trisini and Elio Giovane will join the Fort Lauderdale based team as they look to take advantage of a championship caliber chassis and data from fellow Team BENIK drivers.

“We are very happy to have Santiago and Elio in our program,” explained Team Manager and BENIK Kart Co-Founder Nick Mitchell. “These two kids are learning and growing as drivers and will be threats for race wins and podiums in the future and will help add to the BENIK Kart resume.”

Trisini raced with Team BENIK last weekend at the final round of the Vortex ROK Cup USA Florida event at Andersen Race Park in Palmetto, Florida. Showing great speed from the very first session, Trisini was in a group of four drivers at the front of the field and in a podium position before contact with a fellow competitor ruined any chance of a solid result.

Santiago Trisini will continue with Team BENIK for the remainder of the 2016 season and will compete at the MAXSpeed Entertainment US Open, remaining SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour events as well as ROK Cup USA. Also set to compete in select United States Pro Kart Series events (USPKS), Trisini joins Team BENIK as a young driver with huge potential as he looks to propel himself to the next level.

Just as Trisini, Giovane will also join Team BENIK in full force starting in July at the SuperKarts! USA Pro Tour event at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana. The ten-year-old will also do his fair share of wheel-to-wheel racing, as he will compete in the ROK Cup USA events as well as the remaining events in the United States Pro Kart Series.

Mitchell continued, “Elio is one of those drivers that understands karting and how to be at the front of the field. We are expecting big things out of both him and Santiago over the next six months.”
