OK and OK Junior will participate during the 2016 E Plate meeting
The Association of British Kart Clubs and Shenington Kart Racing Club are delighted to announce that the MSA has given approval to award the MSA E Plate to the new for 2016 CIK OK Senior and OK Junior classes. The 2016 E Plate meeting will be held during the Shenington SuperPrix on 16/17 July with optional practice on Friday 15th July. The OK classes are round two of the MSA British Kart Championships promoted by the Super One Series and guest drivers are welcome. The E Plate will be the first special number plate issued for these very fast new classes, and eligible to be used at any MSA club in the same class. Entry and Vega tyre order forms and championship regulations for the OK classes are on: http://superoneseries.com/downloads/ . The Vortex DDS/DDJ engines must be supplied through Strawberry Racing, visit www.strawberryracing.co.uk , call 0114 288 9933, or email info@strawberryracing.co.uk for details.
All other ABkC classes are eligible for the E Plate meeting at Shenington except the Rotax Max 177 which has its own championship meeting at Forest Edge on 3rd July ( http://www.fekc.co.uk/ ). The E Plates are for the MSA English Champion and can be used at all MSA clubs. The Shenington SuperPrix Draft regulations and entry forms are available on
http://www.sheningtonkrc.co.uk/accomodation . The club’s highlight event of the year includes Historic Kart demonstrations each day, two marquees – one dedicated to the Historic Kart display, a pig roast and salad on Saturday evening (all drivers receive a free meal ticket), bar on Friday and Saturday evening, amusements for children with a Bucking Bronco, disco and music on Saturday evening and the special perpetual SuperPrix trophies on offer along with fastest lap trophies. The TKM Clubman competitors compete for the SP plate instead of the E. The ABkC classes and the Historic Karts will be televised for Motors TV, airing on 8th August at 6.55 p.m.
