2016 Sofina Foods Florida Winter Tour Presented by Fikse Wheels Rotax MAX Challenge Weekend at Homestead Karting

WHAT: MAXSpeed Entertainment, the largest karting race promotion company in the world brings national level, professional kart racing to the South Florida area with the 2016 Sofina Foods Florida Winter Tour Presented by Fikse Wheels. Attracting kart drivers from around the world, this weekend will feature seven Rotax MAX Challenge sanctioned classes in an action-packed and fun-filled event on the grounds of the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Media credentials can be arranged at registration. 

WHO: A geographically diverse roster of 175+ drivers. The youngest class, Rotax Micro MAX, features drivers ages 7+, while the eldest classes, Rotax Masters MAX and Rotax DD2 MAX Masters, features drivers ages 32+. The event also attracts karting enthusiasts, fans, and families, with free spectator admission.

Formula 1 and IndyCar star Rubens Barrichello will contest the Rotax DD2 MAX class, as will current Red Bull Global Rallycross star Nelson Piquet Jr. and Mercedes AMG DTM pilot Robert Wickens.
