Karol Basz starts the final in the best possible way keeping the lead at the start, shadowed by Joyner, Hanley and Nielsen, again down to 4th from 2nd at the first corner, the quartet is soon joined by a flying Lennox-Lamb.And the Pole has to say a big thank you to his rivals, who start an exciting, nail-biting fight allowing the leader to build over 3" gap by half race distance.
The four overtake each other countless times, but in the end it will Lennox to have the better ahead of Nielsen, Joyner and Hanley, with Verschoor and Hiltbrand fighting it out at distance.
A fantastic win for Basz, the first world title for Kosmic Racing, legitimated by the fastest lap of the race (45"843), and a curse for Nielsen who had replaced the Pole as factory driver at the beginning of the season.
