With a time of 45"729 the Tony Kart Racing Team driver hit the pole position in KF to start Saturday's heats on pole. Only 0"026 slower, Richard Verschoor (Exprit/Vortex) built up on a very strong season edging Martijn van Leeuwen (Crg/Tm) by over 1 tenth, as the reigning European Champion Ben Hanely (Mad Croc/Tm) stopped the 6th fastest lap with 45"969 behind Roes Andersen (FA Kart/Vortex) and Hiltbrand (Crg/Parilla).The heat session (10 in total for the 63 entries) will start on Saturday at 10.55 am.
In KF Junior, big surprise with Konsta Lappalainen (Tony Kart/Vortex) stopping a fastest lap of 46"446 to edge American Logan Sargeant (FA Kart/Vortex) by 0"035. Next, two more Ricky Flynn Motorsport drivers, Fernandez and Worship, both 0"081 off the pole.
Disastrous qualifying for the reigning European Champion Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart/Vortex) with the 28th fastest lap almost 4 tenths off the pole.
The 99 entries will start the heat session (15 in total) at 9.55 am.
