Alberto Cavalieri on the podium at last

At last, the Righetti Ridolfi / Modena Engines outfit was rewarded with a well-deserved podium finish in the cadet gearbox class in Le Mans. A very prestigious achievement which saw the great performance of Alberto Cavalieri, always fighting with the fastest throughout the weekend. Other drivers racing on the same chassis-engine outfit showed some great pace, like German Lorkowski - who could have aimed at the win - and Antonio Piccioni, not particularly lucky on the occasion. Another fact worth mentioning for the engine manufacturer based in Modena, is the presence of as many as 7 Modena Engines-powered drivers in the final.
