Canadian Lance Stroll, 11 year-old kart driver coached by former karting World Champion Mike Wilson, has been signed on to the Ferrari Driver Academy, the new driver development program run directly by Ferrari F1 team.
Lance is son of Lawrence Stroll, a very influential person in Canada, owner of Mont-Tremblant circuit in Quebec and fashion tycoon who has worked with Pierre Cardin and Ralph Lauren.
The Ansa agency launch was reported on Corriere della Sera website, one of the most important Italian newspapers.
