2015 SWS World Finals returns to Paris

The culmination of the Sodi World Series in 2015 will come back to the prestigious Racing Kart de Cormeilles venue near Paris. From 4th to 6th June, almost 300 drivers from all five continents will gather for the SWS World Finals on one of the most beautiful European karting circuits with a packed programme of racing, but also entertainment and fun in the purest spirit of the SWS.



SWS World Final 2015: More options, better racing
Since it's creation in 2009, the Sodi World Finals have been the flagship event of the SWS, bringing together the best leisure kart drivers worldwide. Although the sporting aspects of this unique competition have become established year after year, reaching an exceptional standard, the friendliness of the event has always been a major aim of the organiser 3MK Events.
 
In 2015, the competition will take place near Paris on the famous venue of Racing Kart de Cormeilles. From Friday morning, there will be non-stop testing, qualifying and racing until Saturday evening, day and night. Two tracks of 1000m and 1200m will be used for the three categories competing at the Sodi World Finals: the Sprint Cup, Junior Cup and Endurance Cup. The 280 drivers entered in the event have qualified from among the 30,000 participants in the SWS worldwide. The finalists represent no less than 26 countries from 38 SWS championships and five continents, a record!
 
Drivers will benefit from a 40% increase in track time this year and will compete in all of their races at night. Sodi will make 100 karts available from its entirely new Rental range. The famous RX 250 will be replaced in the Sprint by the new flagship of the French brand, GT4 R, with undeniable sporting qualities. The Juniors will have equipment specially created for them, the Sodi LR5.
 
The 40 teams of 3 or 4 drivers participating in the SWS Endurance Cup will have the chance to compete in a magical race of 500 miles from midnight Friday to Saturday noon at the wheel of the current best machines of discipline, the Sodi RT8.
 
There will be 80 drivers competing for the world title in the SWS Sprint Cup, during more than 50 sessions on one or the other of the two tracks at Cormeilles. For 11-14 years, the 2015 SWS Junior Cup offers up to 40 additional entries, and 40% more track time. The youngsters will be in a prominent place this year in the SWS global event.
 
In all classes, leisure kart specialists compete against drivers from international competition, and will rely on their specialist skills to hold their own.
 
Sodi World Finals will end on a high note Saturday night during a closing ceremony where the winners will be celebrated in a festive classy.
