Camponeschi takes a well-deserved win after a tough fight with teammate Ardigò for a one-two Tony Kart, as Brit Lennox-Lamb completes the podium.
The Italian duo is in a class of its own, building a gap on the chasing group already after a couple of laps when Ardigò takes Camponeschi on the inside for the lead. Lennox-Lamb is the best of the rest, he tries to stay with the leading duo but on lap 5 he loses ground finding himself to fight in the group, just about having the better of Hanley and Abbasse to keep the position.
With the leading duo stretching the gap to over 2" by half race distance, Camponeschi takes his team-mate on the inside for the lead but is forced to race his socks off by the reigning World Champion to claim his second European Championship final win, after claiming the win in the opening round one month ago.
Lennox-Lamb completes the podium, followed by fellow compatriot Hanley who disposed of Abbasse on lap 12 after setting the fastest lap of the race (1'00"429).
