4th May 2010. CRG chassis and Maxter engines performances stood out during the three qualifying meetings for the KF2 and KF3 European Championship which took place in the same time last week in Denmark (Thy, Hanstholm), England (PF, Brandon) and Germany (ProKart, Wackersdorf).

Max Verstappen, the new born young Dutch star of international karting, was among the best performers in KF3 in Denmark on the Thy Karting Circuit. Once again he was absolutely among the fastest drivers thanks to his CRG-Maxter, assisted on this occasion by CRG Holland. In this event, Verstappen was together with the best drivers, arriving in third in race-1 and fifth in race-2, achieving a qualification with an overall second place in the general ranking: he is now one of the candidates for the European trophy whose final event will take place in Genk in Belgium on 11thJuly.
Among the other CRG drivers also the Finnish Juho Valtanen achieved the qualification for the KF3 final. The Danish driver Michelle Gatting confirmed his talent once again in KF2, who even managed to get astonishing wins in two heats. The quick sixteen year old driver for the CRG Junior Team arrived in seventh in race-1 and thirteenth in race-2, giving the impression to be very performing: she achieved the fastest lap in both the races. Other CRG drivers who got the qualification are the Finnish Matias Köykkä (18th) and the Belgian Julien Lefort (26th).

In England, the KF3 meeting was very selective. There were 64 drivers on the PF International Circuit at Brandon, ready to battle for the qualification. Good result for the French driver Benjamin Gérard (Equipo Jamkart Tenerife), qualified for the European final with the 28th place in the general ranking (see picture beside).

In Germany, on the ProKart Raceland Circuit at Wackersdorf, the KF2 qualification for the European final was achieved by the German driver David Edler Von Graeve (Kartshop Team, Ampfing); his team-mate Maximillian Koch, instead, got the qualification for the KF3 final.

The finals of the CIK-FIA European Championships for the KF2 and KF3 categories will take place on 11th July 2010 at Genk (Belgium).
