Spencer Pigot re-signed by FirstKart and suntrust's youth racing program

January 8, 2008 - After a successful first season in the JICA category Florida junior driver Spencer Pigot is returning to the FirstKart.com squad for a second year in 2008. It was also announced at the PRI Show that Wayne Taylor and the SunTrust Youth Racing Program have extended their agreement to support the ambitious youngster for another season.
“It’s great to have another year with the support of Wayne Taylor and SunTrust. I hope to build on the results we achieved in our rookie year and challenge for the championship in 2008. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Wayne and SunTrust along with my other partners, OMP, Catalina Furniture, Autosports Media and First Kart without whom none of this would be possible.”
Spencer had a rookie season in JICA that produced a win in the Snap-On Stars of Karting series , three pole positions, more than any other driver, and 5^th overall in the National Championship. He also earned a win in the Florida Winter tour and third place in the Championship.
2008 will see this busy driver competing not only in the Snap-On Stars of Karting series but the Florida Winter Tour and the WKA Manufacturers Cup National Championship.
